Use arrow keys to move / merge the towers.
You can mix 2 identical towers to get a new, more powerful tower.

Created for Game Maker's Toolkit Jam 2018

3 basic mechanics of tower defense games:

  1. Location of the towers.
  2. Improvements to the towers.
  3. Handling a currency (resource) that is what limits you the construction and improvements of the towers.

After that just build a game where those mechanics will not work exactly the same (GENRE, but you can’t MECHANIC).

  1. You can not locate the towers where you want (unless you achieve it through the puzzle).
  2. You can not improve the towers (unless you achieve it through the puzzle).
  3. There is no currency (resource) to handle since the game limits you from building / improving the towers through the puzzle.

Thanks for playing.

This is a really interesting idea. Like Threes + Tower Defence. The presentation is pleasing as well. However, my best time was when I just mashed the arrow keys until I couldn't move turrets any more. That got me to a level 8 pretty quickly, which kept me ahead of the game for a while.

I feel like the later stage turrets should be more exciting, to make you feel like you really accomplished something by building them up. Railguns, or big explosions. I'm curious to see where this goes.

Thank you very much for the feedback. Yes, evolution is a key element to  hold the player interest, I will keep it in mind for future updates.

I'm sorry for that poor experience. Yes I have a few (or more) corrections of the balance of units to be made in the future (speed / damage / creation). I will try to solve them in future updates. Thank you very much for the feedback.
